Our Governance & Team

GOAL Foundation is guided by a dedicated Board of Trustees and an operational team committed to transparency, accountability, and community impact.

Board of Trustees

• Chairperson – Provides leadership to the board and ensures proper governance.
• Vice Chairperson – Assists and deputises for the Chairperson.
• Secretary – Responsible for legal filings, meeting records, and compliance.
• Treasurer – Manages financial oversight, budgeting, and reporting.
• Trustee (Community & Youth Development) – Focuses on community and youth engagement.
• Trustee (Training & Employment) – Oversees skills, employment, and partnership programmes.
• Trustee (Sports & Recreation) – Manages sports initiatives, tournaments, and youth coaching.
• Trustee (Women Empowerment & Inclusion) – Develops women’s initiatives and inclusion projects.
• Trustee (Culture & Heritage) – Ensures heritage and cultural programmes align with the foundation’s vision.

Executive & Operational Team

• Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – Overall leadership, partnerships, and project delivery.
• Operations Manager – Manages programmes, staff, and daily operations.
• Finance & Grants Manager –Prepares budgets, manages donations, grants, and reports.
• Training & Employment Coordinator – Leads workshops, skills development, and mentoring.
• Sports Development Coordinator – oversees sports coaching, tournaments, and youth engagement.
• Community Engagement Officer – Liaises with local authorities and stakeholders.
• Communications & Media Officer – Manages website, PR, and community awareness.
• Volunteers Coordinator – Recruits, trains, and supports volunteers.
• Administrative Assistant – Handles documentation, logistics, and support tasks

Advisory Board

The Advisory Board provides guidance, credibility, and professional insight without involvement in daily operations.

• Patron – A respected public figure supporting the foundation.
• Advisory Chairperson – Senior advisor to the main board.
• Advisors (3–5 members) from fields like:

• Education & training
• Healthcare & wellbeing

Legal & Compliance

• Maintain statutory registers (members, trustees, minutes, etc.).
• File annual accounts and confirmation statements with Companies House.
• If applying to the Charity Commission, ensure:

• Proper governing documents (your Articles are ready).
• Proof of non-profit funding and community benefit activities.
